Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and MLB Player Tie the Knot

    Netflix

A former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and a player for the Baltimore Orioles have completed the rare MLB-NFL crossover. They have exchanged vows during a beach wedding.

Claire Wolford, a former Cowboys cheerleader, married Baltimore Orioles outfielder Colton Cowser at the Grand Wailea Maui in Hawaii. This ceremony took place over the offseason as the two celebrated their love while surrounded by members of their immediate families.

Wolford, who retired in 2023 before returning for a one-off appearance last season, revealed that a larger ceremony will take place later in 2026.

“January 16, 2026 – The most intentional, sacred and joyful day (heart emoji) Surrounded by immediate family in Hawaii, we said ‘I do’ and prayerfully trusted God with the first chapter of our lives together,” Wolford wrote on Instagram.

“We can’t wait to celebrate BIG with everyone this December!!”

This wedding followed an important milestone for the couple. According to a post from Cowser, they celebrated one year of dating on Sept. 1, 2025. Cowser then proposed later in September during a day in Central Park.

“Here’s to Forever & Always together (ring emoji)(heart emoji),” Wolford wrote in their announcement post. “Thanking God for the biggest blessing and answered prayer!!”

Four months later, they marked another important milestone in their relationship with the wedding in Hawaii.

Cowser, a Texas native, starts his fourth season with the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. He will face off with the Minnesota Twins before continuing on with the 2026 campaign.

Cowser has appeared in 271 MLB games, 153 of which took place during the 2024 season. He has scored 128 runs during his professional career while hitting 40 home runs. He has accounted for 113 runs batted in.

The fourth-year pro appeared in 16 games during Spring Training leading up to the 2026 season. He had 45 at-bat appearances and scored hits on 22.2%. He had two doubles, one home run, four walks, and four runs batted in. He also stole one base as the Orioles went 13-13 overall.
