Marcellus Wiley Loses Custody of Kids as Court Issues Order of Protection Against Him

Former NFL star and longtime sports media personality Marcellus Wiley has lost custody of his three children as part of a court ruling in his contentious divorce.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Wiley’s estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, was granted sole custody of their children along with a three-year restraining order.

Wiley must remain at least 100 yards away from Annemarie and the children except during court-approved visits.

Initially, those visits will be monitored and take place twice during the week and once on weekends. After Wiley provides proof that he has completed five court-ordered domestic violence classes, the visits can become unmonitored.

After completing 26 classes, the former NFL defensive lineman and his estranged wife can discuss expanding his parenting time, potentially including overnight visits.

Wiley is permitted to attend his children’s extracurricular activities, though he must remain at least 20 yards away. The former couple was also ordered to participate in co-parenting counseling.

The ruling comes after Annemarie filed for divorce in July and accused Wiley of physical, sexual and emotional abuse. He has denied those allegations.

The judge did not issue a ruling regarding the former couple’s financial disputes, according to TMZ.

Wiley played 10 seasons in the NFL before becoming a prominent television and radio personality, including stops at ESPN and Fox Sports.
